Grammy Award-winning Nigerian artist, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, widely known as Wizkid, recently posted on his Instagram story with the caption “Life is cheap, No forget,” following the disrespectful remarks made by Dj Chicken regarding him and his late mother.
Recently, the street disc jockey, DJ chicken, has been causing a stir online due to his disrespectful remarks about Wizkid’s deceased mother. DJ Chicken claimed that Wizkid didn’t provide him with financial support.
DJ chicken stirred controversy on the internet by insulting Wizkid’s deaceaswd mother and saying that Wizkid would soon Join her. This sparked outrage among Wizkid fc, who demanded accountability and called for Dj chickens Imprisonment.
Following the backlash, Dj Chicken issued an apology to Wizkid and his fan base, claiming it was all about love. However, Wizkid Fc refused to accept the apology, leading them to revoke DJ chicken’s access to his Tiktok account.
In response, Wizkid cryptically replied with “Life is Cheap”. I believe this serves as a reminder of the value of life amidst the controversy.
